Garden Of The Gods.

I feel like this place was so incredible and nothing like i’ve ever seen before. If you have not been to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs you have to go. If you have no idea how this place was formed and all that I strongly recommend you go to their website and read about it. Here is just a tiny info about it.

The garden's red rock formations were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. Archaeological evidence shows that prehistoric people visited Garden of the Gods about 1330 BC. At about 250 BC, Native American people camped in the park; they are believed to have been attracted to wildlife and plant life in the area and used overhangs created by the rocks for shelter.

When Logan and I went we were blown away by the huge sand structures and when we found out how they were formed we just couldn't help but be in awe. They have so many hiking trails and you can even rock climb if you have all the gear. We did sleep right outside in the van we rented when we went because you can’t sleep in the actual park.

The first hike we did was Palmer Trail to Siamese Twins. It’s a 1.5mi hike and in the photos above you can see that we are by the Siamese Twins and they are huge. The hike was easy and only took us about 30 min or so and you can have pets on this hike. The other hike we did was the Central Garden Trail. This one had a few different names so if you're looking on All Trails it’s called Palmer, Cabin Canyon, Stausenbach and central gardens. It’s a 4.0 mi hike and took us about 2 hours because there was places we went to climb on the rocks. Overall this place has many hikes for everyone. It’s definitely a place to check out for sure.
