48 Hours in Seattle. Best Food, Coffee and Attractions.
Where to even start with Seattle. In this blog post I will share a mixture of things we did and places we loved to eat at.
The Pike Place Market is a must do. It has so much to see and do. With hundreds of vendors with everything from art, food, history and culture. Even if you had no plans to buy anything i’m sure once you walk around and see everything you will find something that you have to taste or bring home. A must see attraction I guess you can call it is seeing the workers at the fresh fish stand throwing the fish over the crowd! Ya you read that right. Its so cool to see and I recommend you find a good spot and wait for them to throw the fish because as they are doing it and its flying over people its hilarious to watch the peoples reaction walking by.
Food options are just amazing in Seattle and if you're looking for the best chowder this is the spot to go to. Pike Place Chowder! No matter how long the line is, stand in it because it’s worth it for sure. They have so many different chowders from east coast to west coast and you can get a sampler and lobster and crab rolls also.
The Space Needle is an attraction that’s a must for sure. They have a spot up at the top that has a glass bottom that you walk on and can see the ground and to make it even better it’s rotating. In the video you see everything we are talking about in this post.
If you're a coffee lover like us this next part is going to fuel you. We stopped at the largest Starbucks in Seattle. And oh God it was amazing. We got to talk to one of the roasters for the coffee and learn how they made the coffee and try a ton of the food they had to offer. It was great but the only con was it was insanely busy. To the point where we couldn’t really walk around. But we made the best of it and I still think it’s worth checking it out. Just maybe not on a weekend.
